My aesthetics have been influenced by the serenity of the Japanese Tea Ceremony and by forms in nature. I turn to the raku process for sculptural and decorative forms, often enhanced by branches. For all my functional ware, I favor high fire stoneware that is sturdy, serviceable and timeless.
I work and show my ceramics at Ruby’s Clay Studio and Gallery – 552 Noe Street between 18th and 19th Streets in San Francisco. Please email me or call for an appointment. I would be glad to meet you and show you my ceramics at Ruby’s. I also accept special orders and commissions for particular designs, colors, sizes and shapes.
My ceramics have been featured at Roger Barber Gallery in San Anselmo, Morphos Gallery (now Catherine Clark Gallery) and Art Options in San Francisco, Artisans Gallery in Mill Valley, Valley Art Gallery in Walnut Creek and The Carl Cherry Center in Carmel, California.
